Course Audit

Wow. I finished digital humanities. I struggled a lot in this course, I think because I’m not very computer oriented and have a short patience. I can recall multiple times when I felt like putting a brand new fist hole in my laptop. That being said, the exercises that I understood were fairly fun, I found some of the tools rewarding to use and the outcome of some exercises quite satisfying (like the story maps). I wasn’t the largest fan of the annotations, but hey, who actually enjoys readings? Another plus I found was that I just have a website now. I’ll probably never use it but I can tell people that I have a website dedicated to me so that’s pretty cool. Aside from that, I found Grant to be incredibly accomodating and patient with me, even when I may have said some harsher words that I regretted later. Grant really saved my ass, and for that I’m greatful. I could see myself taking this class again, but I’d only do it if I had a little more experience. That being said, “Be excellent to each other, and party on dudes.” (William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. and Ted “Theodore” Logan)
